This '69 SS 396 clone is just one year out of a ground up nut and bolt restoration. Starting with a solid donor car, the owner began the process of building his childhood dream car. He enlisted several specialists for the different tasks required.

Jim's Machine shop of Redwood City performed the machine work and assembly on the L35 look-a-like 396/325 engine which was built to the exact specs as factory. Every part inside is new. The transmission is a heavy duty Tremec 5-speed.

Myers Sandblasting prepped the bare shell by media blasting and priming it for paint. Auto Body Bliss then prepped and painted the body on a rotisserie.

Sid's custom upholstery re-trimmed the car with an OEM 'Deluxe' vinyl interior. Dynamat has been added everywhere to keep vibrations down.

Meanstreets Performance wired and plumbed the car.

Custom Alignment mounted and balanced the tires on the Rallye wheels as well as performing an alignment after everything was buttoned up.

The exterior is Fathom Green with Black 396 graphics over a Black interior. The car is fitted with power steering which makes cruising a joy.

Asking Price: 52,900. Leasing and finance options are available - trades are gladly considered.
